Tārāvana Newsletter
We regularly send out the Tārāvana newsletter once or twice a month to inform you about new courses, projects and interesting topics. We use your e-mail address for this, which you can send us using the form. After registering, you will first receive an email to verify the email address you provided. Your newsletter subscription will only be activated after you click on the confirmation link in this email. We use the German service provider CleverReach to send the newsletter. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the unsubscribe link in the footer of the newsletter or by sending an email to office@taravana.de. Getting Here
By Air:
The nearest airport is Cologne/Bonn. From there there is a direct train connection with the S19 towards Au (Sieg). Düsseldorf Airport is also in the region. From there it is best to take the ICE or S-Bahn to Cologne Central Station, then continue as described below. Frankfurt Airport is also not too far away. From here it is best to take the ICE to Siegburg/Bonn or Cologne. Then continue as described below.
By Public Transportation:
From Cologne Central Station, Cologne Messe/Deutz, Siegburg/Bonn or Cologne/Bonn Airport with the regional trains:
- S12, S19 direction Au (Sieg) to Rosbach (Sieg) to take the bus,
- S12, S19, RE9 or RSX direction Siegen to Au (Sieg) to take a cab.
In Rosbach, take line 544 to Halscheid (our village). From there it is another 500 meters on foot. Please note that Rosbach is only served by the regional trains S12 and S19, but not by the regional express RE9 or the Rhein-Sieg-Express RSX. The bus stop is right next to the station. You can find the bus timetable here.
Note: On Sundays and public holidays, only the TaxiBus runs, which must be ordered by telephone at least one hour before departure: +49 2241 499 999. The departure times in Rosbach are based on the current bus timetable. The ride on the TaxiBus costs no more than the bus ticket.
Tip: If you buy a VRS ticket at price level 5 in Cologne or Siegburg/Bonn, the bus journey is already included in the price. The ticket costs no more than a one-way ticket for the train journey to Rosbach.
If you want to come by cab, you should go to Au (Sieg), as this is the closest station to us, but there are no buses to Halscheid from there. All trains (S12, S19, RE9 and RSX) stop here. At the exit of the station is Taxi Heinz, tel. no.: +49 2682 8000. You should order your cab before your journey or at the latest during the train journey to avoid possible waiting times at the station.
