Rebecca Hufen

Rebecca has been involved with Buddhism since her childhood, especially in the Tibetan tradition. She studied Tibetology, Indology and Comparative Religion at the University of Hamburg and at the College for Higher Tibetan Studies in Sarah (North India). After completing her master's degree, she worked for a few years as a Tibetan lecturer and coordinating assistant of the “Khyentse-Center for Tibetan Buddhist Textual Scholarship” at the University of Hamburg. This path also led her to workshops, study and research trips to India, Nepal and Bhutan. At the same time, she became acquainted with various yoga traditions and, after years of practicing yoga herself, completed a three-year yoga teacher training course in Cologne. Since then, she has enjoyed teaching yoga and meditation classes on-site in Windeck on a regular basis. Rebecca has worked and is still sometimes working as a translator of Buddhist texts, e.g. for the 84000 project and various books. She is also a passionate chocolate eater, slow walker, cloud gazer, involuntary rabbit owner and, above all, mom to two wonderful daughters ― surely the most exciting and educational job of her life.
